Security Officer

The purpose of this position is to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property of the Fairgrounds campus. This position will respond to incidents involving guests and staff, patrol the property to ensure its security, investigate complaints/crimes/accidents, respond to medical incidents and prepare incident reports used by the Fairgrounds and the Office of the Indiana Attorney General.

Operations Janitorial Crew (Part-time)

The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure that Fairgrounds facilities are clean, sanitary and safe. Employees will work Monday through Friday for five to six hours per day.

Education Presenter (Part-time)

The purpose of this position is to present fieldtrip programs for a fixed period during the spring and fall semesters. The position must assist the department to ensure the educational mission of the Indiana State Fair Commission is realized through exceptional onsite programming through fieldtrip delivery.

Gate Cashier (Part-time)

The purpose of this position is to sell tickets at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center’s gates both year-round and during the annual Indiana State Fair. Gates Cashiers predominantly work outdoors throughout the year.

Parking Attendant (Part-time)

The Parking Attendant serves as a point of contact for all guests as they park their vehicles. Parking Attendants are expected to provide superior customer service while assisting customers to their destinations. Parking Attendants report to the Parking Supervisor.
