Parking & Gates Manager

Livestock Manager

The purpose of this position is to support the Education & Livestock Director is setting the overall vision for the department, as well as overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all competitive livestock events for the Indiana State Fair. This individual ensures a safe, organized, and exhibitor-friendly environment while maintaining high standards of animal welfare, facility cleanliness, and regulatory compliance. This role also supports the solicitation and execution of non-fair livestock events, as well as the Education Department's livestock-related initiatives and exhibits.

Christmas Nights of Lights Crew

The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of duties and tasks and provide outstanding customer service in support of the Christmas Nights of Lights event at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The event commences on November 7th and ends on December 3,st_ The event opens daily at 6:00pm, and employees must be onsite and ready for work at 5:45pm. Shifts are 4.5 to 6.5 hours in length. Weekend and holiday work will be mandatory with bonus pay for holiday work.

Security Officer

The Indiana State Fairgrounds is searching for a Security Officer to join its team in providing 24/7 security to the Fairgrounds campus. The ideal candidate will be professional, dedicated, customer-focused and able to adapt to the frequently changing uses of the Fairgrounds.

Operations Janitorial Crew (Part-time)

The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure that Fairgrounds facilities are clean, sanitary and safe. Employees will work Monday through Friday for five to six hours per day.

Education Presenter (Part-time)

The purpose of this position is to present fieldtrip programs for a fixed period during the spring and fall semesters. The position must assist the department to ensure the educational mission of the Indiana State Fair Commission is realized through exceptional onsite programming through fieldtrip delivery.

Gate Cashier (Part-time)

The purpose of this position is to sell tickets at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center’s gates both year-round and during the annual Indiana State Fair. Gates Cashiers predominantly work outdoors throughout the year.

Parking Attendant (Part-time)

The Parking Attendant serves as a point of contact for all guests as they park their vehicles. Parking Attendants are expected to provide superior customer service while assisting customers to their destinations. Parking Attendants report to the Parking Supervisor.
