BEAN THERE, MADE THAT: Soybeans, Products, and Possibilities

DESCRIPTION

Grades: 3rd – 6th Grade
Duration: 45 minute virtual experience followed by a 50 - 90 minute lesson plan

Hosted by the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center and sponsored by the Indiana Soybean Alliance, Bean There Made That is a virtual program designed to teach students in grades 3-6 what happens to soybeans after they leave the farm and how they become products we use every day.

Students will learn about how soybeans are harvested and produced into different products. Soybeans are a vital part of Indiana’s agricultural landscape and are used in products we use every day such as crayons, candles, shoes, soy milk, biodiesel and more.
