race weekend Camping at the Fairgrounds

The Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center is accepting camping reservations for Race Weekend, Thursday May 21^st to Tuesday May 26^th, 2026. Only 8.6 miles from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway the Fairgrounds is a great location for all your race weekend camping needs!

The Campgrounds feature spaces that accommodate full hook-up (30 & 50 amp options), primitive RV sites and tent/car sites. All campground sites are back-in. The Campgrounds include access to bathhouses with showers and laundry facilities. Please note: all fire pits & grills must be elevated from the ground.

Your reservation must be made prior to your arrival! Reservations will include a 3 night minimum stay.

CHECK-IN PROCEDURE

A Pre-Arrival Email will be sent 2 days prior to your reservation start date. Please see that email for check-in procedures and driving instructions.

Check-in is from 1PM - 7PM; those arriving after 7PM will still be assisted.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

• If a reservation is cancelled 8 or more days prior to arrival, a flat $10 cancellation fee will be charged (per reservation that is cancelled)
• If a reservation is cancelled between 1 and 7 days prior to arrival, the first night’s rental fee plus tax will be charged as a cancellation fee (per reservation that is cancelled)
• If a reservation is cancelled on or after the day of arrival, the customer will forfeit their entire rental fee
